REHAB AT WORKPHYSICAL THERAPY & INDUSTRIAL REHAB

Work comp patients pay nothing out of pocket.

No copay, no deductible, no bill — on an accepted workers’ comp claim, or when your employer or a state program arranged your care. That covers most of the people we treat. The rest of this page is for everyone else.

For patients

What will my care cost?

What to expect if you use your own health insurance or pay for your care yourself.

If you are using your own health insurance

There are only three ways a plan can handle a therapy visit, and your plan already decided which one applies to you. We check it before your first visit and tell you what your plan says you will owe at each visit. That is an estimate: your insurance company makes the final call when it processes each claim.

The one people get caught by is the deductible. Until it is met, your plan pays nothing and the full contracted rate is yours. The upside: every dollar of it counts toward your deductible, so you are not paying extra — you are paying it earlier.

How and when you pay
  • 1We verify your benefits before your first visit and tell you your estimated share.
  • 2You pay that estimated share at each visit, not weeks later in the mail.
  • 3Your insurance company’s Explanation of Benefits sets the final amount. Paid too little: we mail a statement. Paid too much: we refund you once all of your claims are processed.

How insurance works here — copays, deductibles, networks and bills →

We do not take Medicare or Medicaid. If that is your only coverage we cannot bill it, and you would be seen as a self-pay patient. Tell us when you call, so we can be straight with you before you make the trip.

  • A flat copay

The same amount every visit · how most of our insured patients are covered
  • Your deductible

The full contracted rate, until the deductible is met · and every dollar of it counts toward that deductible
  • Coinsurance

A percentage of the contracted rate · the plan pays the rest

We would rather publish our real per-visit numbers than a brochure estimate, and we are finishing the check that lets us stand behind every one of them. Until then, ask us — we will quote your actual plan.

Paying for care yourself

No coverage for therapy, or a plan with no out-of-network benefits? We will treat you at our self-pay rate, paid at each visit. You sign a self-pay authorization before you start, and after you are discharged you can ask us for a copy of the claim to send to your insurance company yourself.

Physical therapy, self-payPrice
Evaluation (first visit)$230
Each treatment visit$120

Paid at each visit. You are told the price before you are treated, and it does not change afterwards.

Missed visits

Call your clinic at least 24 hours ahead to cancel or reschedule, and there is no charge. Cancelling later than that, or not coming at all, counts as a missed visit: the first one is free, and each one after that is $45. This applies to visits paid by health insurance or by you, not to workers’ comp. How it works →

Ask us. Before your first visit, not after your last one.

Nobody enjoys asking what something costs, and nobody should have to guess. Call your clinic directly — find its number here — or the main line at (888) 827-6361, and we will check your actual benefits and tell you what to expect.

Questions about the process? Ask the pros. Industrial rehab leaders who know workers’ compensation and case management — call (888) 827-6361 or start a referral and we'll recommend the right next step.

Where these numbers come from. Rehab at Work billing records for dates of service 1 July 2024 – 30 June 2026: 4,225 patients and 47,061 visits. Every figure is money actually received — not a charge, an estimate or a fee schedule.
